WordPress ist eine mächtige und funktionsreiche und immer besser werdende Blogsoftware, die aber nicht alle Wünsche und Begehrlichkeiten eines Bloggers erfüllen kann. Dafür gibt es aber mittlerweile tausende von Plugins, mit denen man WordPress sehr einfach in alle Richtungen ausbauen und erweitern kann.
Generell versuche ich die Anzahl an Plugins überschaubar zu halten, da Plugins auch Einfluss auf die Performance und die Sicherheit einer Installation haben. Von daher sollte man versuchen Plugins immer auf dem aktuellsten Stand zu halten.
Die folgende dynamische Liste zeigt alle WP-Plugin’s die aktuell in meiner Installation zum Einsatz kommen:
